I am excited to tell you I got my first job! I did IVR for a new local store in my area: Indian Motorcycle Wayne, in Wayne, NJ. I'm still thinking about that fantastic webinar you hosted with Elley-Ray. I've started creating and cataloguing characters! My hideous NJ commutes of 45-minutes to an hour every morning and evening have turned into times to warmup, practice and create! Thanks for always being supportive!
I enjoyed the webinar immensely! Elley-Ray was inspiring and informative to the max! I was riding high all day today just thinking about it all.
Wow - what an experience working with you on the webinar tonight! We'll all want to view the recording many times to consume all your energy and wisdom.
Thanks so much for the awe inspiring session we had on Tuesday Elley! I'm listening back to it and it's so helpful.
You are AMAZING and WONDERFUL and SUCH an INSPIRATION to me! You change lives - you know that? You really make a difference and I'm sure that I am, by far, not the only person to tell you that :)
Marcia is truly a dedicated and passionate voiceover actor. Her drive to help children and bring joy to them through her work is truly inspiring. When asked of the best lesson she has learned, Marcia shares, “I love Elley-Ray! She is a brilliant actor, VO artist, coach, and director. One of best in helping one develop character voices. She has taught me that voice acting is about truth…it’s about realizing and making realistic copy. So, to do that as a voice actor, we must inspire our audience by bringing love, joy, and risk to words which will, in turn, evoke feeling within our listeners.” A lesson we all can learn from.
I wanted to send you a thank you. Since we met a year ago and I started doing the meditation so many things have happened. I got and agent and started auditioning again. I have booked almost every gig that I've auditioned for save for a few commercials. And on Tuesday I am recording my first voice over gig! I am so grateful. Thanks so much for helping to get me back out there.
Saint Elley, I know you are the person to put me in the right frame of mind...
Just caught up on my email and had to let you know....after that dry spell I was telling you about, I was sent a fantastic audition for Susan Heart while I WAS IN THE ROOM with you!!! Next Monday :) it's true...you're magic!!
Buddha said: ‘Teach this triple truth to all: A generous heart, kind speech, and a life of service and compassion are the things which renew humanity.’ You, my dearest Elley, encompass this in its absolute truest form. ” Nancy Macera
I had the opportunity to be mentored by Elley during a voice over workshop, she then was able to get my demo disc together and get me an agent! Since then, I've been cast to voice a beer commercial, a character in an upcoming animation series. I've even been cast for minor roles in some well know tv series. Elley got my ball rolling, she has been the catalyst in jump starting my career. Not sure where I'd be without her. Love you girl! Thanks for everything!
Elley-Ray can elevate, restore, and reconnect you with your creative talents. She is the spark and insight that any artist needs. She loves madly and gives endlessly. She's masterful without being a "master" or a "dictator" or a "method". She meets you at your level and levels you. Elley-Ray allows the impulse and genius to come from you. She empowers and pushes you forward. The confidence she has in you...becomes the confidence you have in yourself. Working with her revs your innate ability to tell stories.
Elley-Ray is one of the most giving, exuberant, and positive teachers that I have ever encountered. She literally shakes you out of your comfort zone and takes you to places you didn't know you could go... but always wanted to. And she does it with such love and humour that you come out the other side feeling so grateful for the incredible journey she has just taken you on. Work with Elley-Ray- she's good for your soul.
That's what I always do. When someone says I can't I say, "Watch Elley-Ray."
You are an incredible force of nature Ms. Elley. I'm absorbing all you give and it makes me a better person. Thank you!!
It is not everyday that such ambitious projects happen and you made it possible.
I cannot wait to live the dream!
There is only one Elley-Ray, but to be honest I am not sure the world could handle two! She is a phenomenon, get in, buckle up, and get ready for the ride of your life.
You’re the best! No one even comes close.
You were incredibly generous with your time and advice, and your comments were always so dead on that it's scary! I'm really looking forward to working with you again.
Elley-Ray is one of the most talented human beings i have ever been blessed to meet and work with. Through a combination of techniques ,and skills she builds individually with each student a foundation that can only lead to success and personal growth. She combines spiritual and emotional truth with how to utilize these tools to tell the individual's 'story' within. Her demos are phenomenal , and have landed me work and led to many opportunities. Most of all she is an inspiration to those who 's paths she has touched and guided. A true mentor who will help you aspire to your dreams.
I was told that I would never be a voiceperson… I’m still doing it after 30 odd years!
